NO RESERVEHere is a nice KWM-2A. It receives/transmits on all bands. Heard several stations on all bands with a short piece of wire lying on the floor. Transmitter gets output on all bands, with the usual decrease in power on the upper (15/10) bands. . .but there is output. Do not have a watt meter so I cannot give you specifics. Unit will not be DOA.
Other than cleaning it up a little, Deoxiting, and changing out a few weak tubes, I did nothing else to the unit. With all these units the suggested field alignment is certainly recommended for optimal performance.
The cabinet is straight with a few small scratches here and there, but certainly not bad. I'll let you judge for yourself. The front panel is clean and the lettering is crisp. It is not "mint" condition, but for a 50 year old radio it looks pretty good. When I had it out of the case to clean it and Deoxit the relays, I did not see any hacking of the wiring. From my quick inspection it appears to be original.
I did not check the specific crystals (it has the usual complement underneath the chassis) but by listening to the various bands they certainly appear to be all ham bands/frequencies.
A manual is NOT included but these are readily available on line for little or no cost. As you are probably also aware this requires a Collins power supply or equivalent which is NOT included.
Must make room and am selling off some Collins stuff. More to come. If not as advertised, you can return for refund.
International bidders welcome, BUT IT WILL BE VERY EXPENSIVE TO SHIP. PROBABLY AT LEAST $150 TO EUROPE AND $175 TO ASIA. DO NOT ASK ME FOR A SHIPPING PRICE. CHECK FOR YOURSELF ON FEDEX SITE.
Thanks for reading and good luck bidding.

Was asked if the front panel was discolored. A couple of the pictures look that way. Not at all discolored. It's the shadows that make it look that way. Front panel is all the same color and clean. Thanks for asking.
